Security Door Opener II
for latchbolt 65 x 18 mm
When the door is closed, the strike latch with lock bolt catcher holds the bolt latch secured by the locking latch. While the door opener coil is energised, the opener latch is movable and the door is released.

Functional description
When the door is closed, the strike latch with lock bolt catcher holds the bolt latch secured by the locking latch. While the door opener coil is energised, the opener latch is movable and the door is released.
When the door is opened, the strike latch is turned open by the bolt latch and immediately falls back into the initial position. When the door is closed again, the disengaged bolt latch is pushed in by the run-up slope and locks into the bolt latch catch of the electric strike when the door is in contact. When the safety pin is sufficiently actuated, the electric strike locks and the door is secured again. The safety pin ensures that the electric strike does not lock when the electric strike latch is turned back manually.
The door can only be opened during contact (power supply to the electric strike). In the event of a power failure, the door remains locked. It is then only possible to open the door by manually unlocking the bolt lock with the locking cylinder or key.
Feedback function
The model RR AK RR provides two messages about its functional status:
The changeover-controlled feedback contact (RR) reports the door status "open" or "closed" with a potential-free changeover contact. The microswitch is controlled by the change in the door opener. The message "locked" is only given when the latch of the dead bolt door opener is brought into the locked position by the lock bolt and the safety pin is sufficiently actuated by the lock bolt. (Change in the locked position) Closing back of the lock bolt with the door opener locked is not detected.
The armature switching contact (AK RR) signals the locking status of the electric strike with a potential-free change-over contact. This signalling contact is controlled directly by the armature of the electric strike. With AC operation of the electric strike coil, the armature is set into oscillation by the changing magnetic field at the moment of unlocking; this also affects the armature contact. This behaviour must be taken into account in the design of the monitoring circuit.
Features
When the door is closed, the strike latch with lock bolt catcher holds the bolt latch secured by the locking latch. While the door opener coil is energised, the opener latch is movable and the door is released.
Application areas
The electric strike 88000020 is designed for deadbolt latch locks with a maximum latchbolt dimension of 65 x 18 mm. Wherever the installation of a motor lock is not possible for technical or structural reasons, the electric strike can be used with a mechanical dead bolt latch lock.

DR | DIN direction: right hand
If the hinges are on the right side of the door, it is the "DIN right" door opening.
Configurable options
- DIN direction: right
- DIN direction: left
DL | DIN direction: left hand
If the hinges are on the left side of the door, it is the "DIN left" door opening.
Configurable options
