Functional description

The door manufacturer receives the lock pocket directly from STUV and welds it into the door leaf. This simplifies the installation and removal of the locks on site or for replacement purposes. In addition, the locks get a correctly aligned and tension-free fit in the door leaf. STUV offers a matching lock pocket for almost all lock types. Only specially secured detention room door locks with cremone locking are installed without a pocket.

The lock pocket is installed using the four fastening lugs provided for this purpose. Two fixing lugs are on the open lock insert side, two more on the rear, closed side. The tabs are preferably fixed by welding.

Features

Lock pocket made of stainless steel to accommodate mechanical HSL / SL locks of the 100 type series.

Application areas

For use in detention room and passage doors, STUV offers a dimensionally identical lock pocket with three different features. Mechanical locks are fitted with a mechanical lock pocket. If locks with electronic or electromechanical features are used, a ready-made connection cable is supplied on the lock pocket side.
