Prüfinstitut Schlösser und Beschläge Velbert (PIV)

The Prüfinstitut Schlösser und Beschläge Velbert (PIV) has been available as a partner for testing, certification and monitoring since 1978 with numerous tests. In addition to mechanical product tests on locks and fittings, on windows and doors as well as gates, it also carries out tests on mechatronics. Due to the accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, the test results are accepted worldwide. With PIV CERT, the institute has its own product certification body.
